Fitmate

Fitmate from Cosmed is a desktop metabolic system designed to perform fitness assessment and functional evaluation on club members / athletes / healthy subjects / patients willing to receive clear and comprehensive feedback concerning their wellness and physical fitness level. Fitmate Wellness and Fitmate Pro also deliver individual diet counselling and exercise prescription based on most accredited scientifc guidelines.

There are two models in the Fitmate range: Fitmate Wellness (a more basic model) and Fitmate Pro (which includes more functions and features) - wellness technology for a scientific approach to Weight Management, Fitness Assessment and Exercise Prescription, taking you from sport science to fitness with one easy-to-use system.

FEATURES:

Weight Management
Both versions of Fitmate are provided with a list of features that are fundamental for professionals working in the field of nutrition, weightloss and metabolic disorders in general. Fitmate and Fitmate Pro deliver and handle the following features and assessments: Resting Metabolic Rate; Weight Management Program; Body Composition - Skin-fold and Data Input; Lifestyle and Physical Activity Monitoring.

Cardio Respiratory Fitness
A feature of Fitmate Pro, cardio respiratory fitness (CRF) is the most important parameter to get an overall assessment of the cardio respiratory function. Fitmate Pro allows measurement of CRF in the following methods: VO2 max (maximal protocol); Sub-max VO2 (sub-maximal protocol); VO2 max (field tests); Activity Calorific Cost.

Fitness Assessment
Together with RMR and VO2 max, Fitmate Pro includes a large number of standardized fitness tests to produce a detailed comprehension output representing the overall physical fitness status of the subject tested: Anthropometrics; Cardiovascular; Body Composition; Muscular Fitness; Flexibility. Each one of these measurements is compared to normal values and classified within comprehensive intervals (very poor, poor, fair, good, very good, superior).

Fitmate PC Software
Fitmate and Fitmate Pro are provided with a powerful PC software running on Windows XP OS. The PC Software allows you to download tests performed with Fitmate for permanent data storage. In addition, the software provides all features to monitor progress (trends) of a client tested multiple times. Fitmate software is also compatible with a network environment to share data among multiple stations. The major features of the software are: Exercise Prescription; Cardiovascular Risk Analysis; Daily Calorific Intake.
