Globus Real Power System

The Globus Real Power is a multi-purpose testing unit / evaluation system, measuring force, power, speed and time of an individual or series of concentric and eccentric muscular contractions on any piece of fixed or free weight equipment.

The versatile unit provides real time feedback on every repetition in a series via PC and can compare the variables of one series against another to allow for accurate analysis of work and measurement of performance.

The transducer connects to the weight stack or dumbbell/ barbell and measures the acceleration in a movement. The real force developed is not only the load but is load mass x acceleration. The power of a movement can then be determined by multiplying the real force by the real speed. This allows you a qualitative analysis of performance based upon speed, force, and above all, power, obtained both by eccentric and concentric movements.
