HP Cosmos Airwalk

The HP Cosmos Airwalk is a pneumatic partial body weight support system with a dynamic central point suspension. With the help of this system, locomotion therapy can start at an early stage and can be performed independently of the therapist, with all exercises performed in an upright, functional position.

The HP Cosmos Airwalk can be used with the HP Cosmos Mercury, Quasar and Pulsar series' as well as most running machines produced by other manufacturers, offering support for:

• Obese patients
• Sports and fitness

The metal frame takes over the work of what would normally be two therapists. The patient wears a comfortable vest and is connected to the HP Cosmos Airwalk via a metal suspension. The pneumatic system with hand pump or compressor (required for Airwalk 70 and Airwalk 160) takes care of the required and unweighting that can be adjusted for each phase of therapy.

For Physiotherapists - start patients walking earlier by using the unweighting system which allows the patient the comfort and safety of full body support to facilitate early mobilisation of the joints and progressive training through the infinitely variable adjustments.

For Coaches - take advantage of the high performance features by getting athletes to interchange running forwards with side stepping and backwards running by just turning round whilst in motion, safe in the knowledge that the unweighting system will support at all times and facilitate the best variable speed training available on a treadmill.

The HP Cosmos Airwalk series is available at 3 levels of unweighting:

• Airwalk 35 - up to 35kg unweighting
• Airwalk 70 - up to 70kg unweighting (additional compressor required)
• Airwalk 160 - up to 160kg unweighting (additional compressor required)
• Compressor for Airwalk 70 and Airwalk 160 - compressor corresponds with the technical safety demands for use in the periphery of medical devices.

The HP Cosmos Airwalk series has a 6-week delivery lead time and is not available to buy online.
