HP Cosmos Sprint Trainer - Comet 3P 3.0

The HP Cosmos Comet 3.0 3P Sprint Trainer is a sprint trainer for traction resistance and traction support sprint training. 

The very advanced servo drive technology allows the subject to adjust his/her speed individually. This unique and innovative machine is fast becoming popular among high profile sprint and speed training centres and athletes, helping althletes and trainers achieve their goals.

The Sprint Trainer can be used for muscle power training, by using the traction resistance mode, and muscle speed training, by using the traction support mode. Training with the HP Cosmos Comet Sprint Trainer can be compared with running against a strong wind (similar to traction resistance) or running with the wind (traction support).

Only HP Cosmos Comet 3.0 3P model can provide sufficient performance for all applications in professional sports through its 3-phase power supply. The standard power supply of 220 - 240 V is not sufficient for all applications and therefore is not recommended. The single-phase powered system has less power but can be used at many locations due to the standard voltage power supply. For permanent installations it is suggested that the more powerful 3-phase version HP Cosmos 3P 3.0 be used.

The HP Cosmos Comet 3.0 3P Sprint Trainer can simulate a traction force that is independent from the speed. A sophisticated and electronically controlled drive motor powers a winch drum with approximately 180 metres of narrow cable. The athelete wears a belt around the waist and is connected to the Sprint Trainer via the cable.
