Zebris FDM-S Multifunction System for Stance & Roll-off Analysis
The Zebris FDM-S Multifunction Force Measuring Plate is a measuring system for stance and roll-off analysis.
The Zebris FDM-S System consists of a force measuring plate that can be used with a commercially available personal computer. Due to the large variety of extension possibilities, this system can be used as a complete measuring unit for stance and roll-off analysis.
The Zebris Multifunction Force Measuring Plate consists of a number of individually calibrated capacitive force sensors that enables an analysis of the distribution of static and dynamic forces under the feet during quiet standing and walking.
Foot deformities, foot function and the stance can be analysed and any number of stance tests and roll-off patterns can be carried out quickly. Using additional measuring modules, a balance analysis and a load sequence feedback are possible.
The results are available as an evaluation report and are just a few mouse clicks away. The measuring plates have a video synchronisation output as a standard feature, designed for connecting the optionally available video module. An infrared transmission module is available for synchronizing the EMG radio adapter.
The software program consists of a database, a "Viewer" and a report generator. All the stored force measurement data can be replayed with the video or EMG signals in slow motion and completely synchronised. For the roll-off patterns, the allocation to the left and right side of the body are selected in just a few mouse clicks.
The evaluation reports can be freely configured and the averaged distributions of force show the maximum pressure and force curves, as well as the individual phases of the roll-off pattern. Comparable analyses are possible for up to three measurements. All the raw values and the values of the maximum pressure can be exported as ASCII files.
