Used by world class sports performance facilities around the world, the unique h/p/cosmos saturn treadmill provided a platform for athletes and coaches to achieve high performance training within the laboratory. This gives the athlete and the coach the opportunity to simulate and conduct physiological testing that cannot be achieved during outdoor sessions. The saturn treadmill can be linked with most medical CPET devices and with a multitude of upgrade options can be a complete physiological testing system.
h/p/cosmos running machines categorised as 'medical' meet the following technical safety standards and legal demands for medical application: MDD class IIb, IEC EN 60601-1, IEC EN 60601-1-2, IEC EN 60601-1-4, EN 957-1, EN 957-6 and VDE 0750/0751.
h/p/cosmos saturn treadmills do not have a user terminal directly at the handrail but have external control units. The saturn series also offers a support frame, wheelchair stabiliser kit, additional console for user and athlete feedback, remote control and more
