THE GYM OF THE FUTURE LOOKS LIKE THIS
The essential gear for the gym of the future includes the VMX Rope Trainer. It includes treadmills and stationary bikes too. But the VMX Rope Trainer is the most versatile. In fact there are almost 20 different exercises that can be performed on the rope trainer.
The Marpo VMX Rope Trainer offers cardio programs for general fitness and additional levels for each of the following three workouts:
3. Endurance/circuit training
VMX ROPE TRAINER HEALTHY HEART ZONE (WARM-UP)
Working at 50 - 60% of maximum heart rate, this is the easiest zone and probably the best zone for people just starting a fitness program. It can also be used as a warm up for more serious exercisers. 85% of calories burned in this zone are fats.
EASY (FITNESS FAT BURNING) ZONE
Working at 60 - 70% of maximum heart rate, this zone is more Anaerobic and burns more total calories.
MODERATE (AEROBIC ENDURANCE TRAINING) ZONE
Working at 70 - 80% of maximum heart rate, this zone will improve the cardiovascular and respiratory system and increase the size and strength of the heart. This is the preferred zone for those training for an endurance event. More calories are also burned with 50% from fat.
INTENSE (ANAEROBIC PERFORMANCE TRAINING) ZONE
Working at 80 - 90% of maximum heart rate, the benefits of this zone include an improved VO2 max and therefore an improved cardiorespiratory system. Users will also benefit from a higher lactate tolerance ability. This means endurance will improve and fatigue will be less of a problem. This high intensity zone burns yet more calories, 15% from fat.
RED LINE (MAXIMUM EFFORT) ZONE
Working at 90 - 100% of maximum heart rate, this zone burns the highest number of calories. It is very anaerobic and most people can only stay in this zone for short periods. This zone is only intended for people who’re in very good shape and have been cleared by a physician to do so.
It’s no surprise Men’s Health reported the Marpo VMX Rope Trainer as “a kickass way to build your back, arms, shoulders, and core.”
