The zebris CMS10 is a compact, easy-to-use system which comes fully equipped to analyse 3D motion in real time. Using specialised “markers” that attach to the subject, the system is able to pick up and calculate their full range of motion from several different parts of the body, specific to the demands of the measurements taking place.
Compact and Powerful
The measuring procedure of the zebris CMS10 is based on the travel time measurement of short ultrasonic pulses, emitted by the “markers” on the participant. By calculating the position of these ultrasonic pulses, as well as the time taken to reach the receivers on the device, the CMS10 provides an instantaneous evaluation of the movement, in 3D. With a measuring distance of up to 1.5m and a measuring rate of up to 200 Hz, the CMS10 is a powerful yet highly portable device ideal for mobile biomechanical measuring stations.
Because of it’s versatility, the CMS10 is compatible with a range of different accessory products, making the product tailorable to meet the requirements of the buyer. Along with various attachments to make the device more portable (such as a floor stand and a holding device), different ultrasonic attachment sets are available for positioning on different parts of the body, such as cervical and lumbar markers for motion analysis. There is also a compelling range of analytic software available depending on the part being focused on (such as “WinArm”, “WinSpine” and “WinPosture”), all independently developed by zebris. All software available as well as the CMS10 system itself is easily controlled by any commercially available computer via USB cable.
