Strength and conditioning training is used for improving athletic and sporting performance, using resistance training and endurance conditioning for increasing strength, power, speed, agility, aerobic and anaerobic condition, and muscular endurance.
There are numerous ways in which strength and conditioning can be used in team sports and athletic performance to create strong, powerful and fast athletes, including sport specific warm ups and cool downs; speed, agility and quickness drills; plyometrics, fitness assessments and strength and conditioning sessions using Speed and Agility Ladders, Strength Tube, Power Speed Resistor, Power Speed Sled and Power Jumper.
